Fairfield University is a Jesuit University chapter who sells products through their campus and around their community. Helena Keefe leads a Fair Trade class at the university and has gathered passionate students to aid in the mission of Spes Nova.
Our mission is to fight economic inequality and promote cross-cultural connections by helping Peruvian artisans to gain access to Connecticut markets and improve their living standards.
Spes Nova seeks to expand its University network through Jesuit partnerships and has found great potential in Helena Keefe's Fair Trade class. We look forward to building a great connection with them and continuing to foster sustainable and inclusive development through trade not aid.
