About Fundacion Levantate Mujer : When a small group women in Bolivia escaped the domestic violence in their homes, they first had nowhere to turn, hiding out their first night in a local forest. Banding together, they formed the Fundación Levántate Mujer giving opportunities to refuged women and children through economic justice. The foundation has now served over 2000 people, including hundreds of women and children. The proceeds of our sales go towards the continued service of women and children in violent homes as well as educating thousands on the issues of domestic and sexual violence, human trafficking, and HIV/AIDS.
