Spes Nova works to alleviate poverty by helping to fund, protect and expand markets for entrepreneurs and small businesses around the world.

Spes Nova is a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization working with volunteers, supporters, universities, religious groups and non-government organizations to support entrepreneurs and small businesses in some of the poorest communities around the world.  Our network seeks to:

– develop less expensive financing to start or expand small business operations,

–  help entrepreneurs and small businesses reach markets outside their local communities, and

–  provide insurance to protect the new or growing operations from catastrophic events.

We believe these three elements, the three pillars, can create a cycle of building sustainable employment for individuals, their families and communities, that will help them improve their overall quality of life in terms of nutrition, education, education and health.
